Juan Gabriel Arias is passionate about what he does, what he gives, helping those who need it most. He develops his social work day by day.
His love for Racing Club is visible to the naked eye, nestled in a rural area – 240km away from Maputo – Mangundze’s church bears his colors. In their mission they play soccer with Racing shirts.
There he is the only priest and the only white man in a very poor area, where approximately 75,000 people live. Juan Gabriel is in charge of a Catholic mission that receives different support from the Messi Foundation, Pope Francis, Solidarity Doctors, White Helmets and anonymous donors among others.
