Biography

Florencia Visconti, 1979 Buenos Aires, Argentina.

Independent Argentine photodocumentarian. Based in Buenos Aires, Argentina. Previously based in Palma de Mallorca – Spain 2002-2011, Madina – Sierra Leone 2013-2014.

Florencia has worked as a photodocumentarian since 2010, covering stories in Argentina, Sierra Leone, Nepal, Lebanon, Kenya, Mozambique, Japan, Ethiopia, Spain among others.

From the beginning of her career Florencia has focused on working with humanitarian organizations. She is currently developing a long-term project, regarding Juan Manuel Fangio’s participation in the Northern International Grand Prix. The Great feat that would take him to the podium for the first time in 1940, prior to becoming five-time F1 world champion.
